The office for administration development was founded in May 1998 and has the following tasks:
Organisational structures
- Adaptation and development of department and office organisational structures
- Advising in the alteration of the organisational structures of departments and offices. Approval of the formation of departments and sub-departments in the office of the State government
Administration controlling
- Development and introduction of methods and instruments of administration controlling
- Advising management staff with regard to their controlling tasks
Calculation of follow-up costs
- Advice in the calculation of the follow-up costs for new laws and other regulations
Project work
- Project management by commission or with the consent of the LAD
- Advisory function and collaboration in individual projects
Administration reform
- Administration reform measures insofar as these do not fall within the jurisdiction of a department or office
- Advice and support for the departments and offices in administration reform tasks
