In order to give all the people in the state who require information on drugs – those directly affected by drugs as well as parents, spouses, friends and relatives  as well as youths, teachers and others interested in the subject – a concrete, rapid and unbureaucratic information service in the form of a central DRUGS INFORMATION HOTLINE was set up in 1995 in the Lukasfeld therapy centre, a facility of the Maria Ebene foundation, to provide information on drugs, their effects, risks and the legal consequences. It provides information on the support services of the Vorarlberg Drugs Support Service as well as the inpatient therapy options in Austria, the services available, concepts and approaches, and answers general and specific questions on the problem of drugs.
