The State of Vorarlberg on the Internet

An important communication hub for Vorarlberg sport was created in 1997 in the form of Sportinformation Vorarlberg.

Sportinformation is available to all umbrella sporting organisations and associations, the sports clubs and local authorities and the sports enthusiast public as an information and service centre. 

Its main tasks are:

• information centre for all questions of sport
• practical support of functionaries, trainers and athletes
• organisation of further training events
• specialised literature and videotheque
• collaboration in publications
• impulses for school / youth sport
• implementation of major events
• contact level for school and sport
• coordination for sport medicine
• office of the Austrian Institute for School and Sport Centre Construction (ÖISS)
