No child can do everything. No child has to be the "best" in every area. In a group of its peers the children measure themselves, find and occupy their own place. They learn to deal with success and failure. They learn to recognise and accept limits and rules. They develop a sense of responsibility for their own actions and the ability to communicate positively. Intellectual alertness, taking pleasure in activity and the ability to engage in intensive and concentrated, free and supervised play are signs of the willingness to learn.
