The site www.vorarlberg.at/atlas is a new service on the web pages of the State of Vorarlberg. This site allows information to be displayed in map form. This resource is expanding continuously, and information is updated on a regular basis.
The site www.vorarlberg.at/atlas (link to German page) has been set up to provide the public with easy access to information and maps from the Vorarlberg Geographical Information System (abbreviated to VoGIS).

The following services are available at present:
- Laser-scanned elevation model: A laser-scanned elevation model is available for the entire territory of the State. Resolution: 1x1 metre.
Address search facility: At present, approximately 90% of addresses in Vorarlberg are stored in the system. Addresses are updated annually.
Official map (1:50000 map of Austria): The "ÖK50" is the official topographical map of Austria to a scale of 1:50000. The map of Austria is updated every 7 years.
Digital land register (plot search facility): The digital land register (or the digital land registry map) shows the boundaries of every plot in Vorarlberg. The digital land register is updated twice a year. The current digital land registry map shows the situation in July 2005.
N.B.: Modified plot search facility. The search is conducted by the entry of the local authority name and plot number (Example: Fraxern:12/3).
Land use plan: The land use plan governs the use of land within the territory. This plan is administered by the territorial authorities and has been digitized by the State Administration. The latest version of the land use plan can be accessed here. The land use plan is updated weekly.
Aerial photographs (Situation in 2001/2002): Available aerial photographs were taken in 2001 and 2002. Consequently, these photographs do not show the current situation. Aerial photographs are to be renewed in 2006.
Nature conservation: The map provides an overview of Natura 2000 and Nature Conservation Zones in the State of Vorarlberg.
Road map: The road map provides an overview of the main traffic routes in the State of Vorarlberg, and contains information on the designation of roads, their length and much more.
Hiking trails: The hiking trails of Vorarlberg cover the entire territory of the State. Information is continuously expanded and updated.
