The Vorarlberg Geographical Information System (VoGIS) provides a wide range of geographical information services. These range from the implementation of projects to providing advice and support, right up to printing out high-quality maps and plans. The VoGIS team also makes sure that every member of staff has access to current and complete data in order to fulfil his or her function to the best possible degree.
VoGIS services
The VoGIS team makes sure that the data required by the employees in the various departments is available in the appropriate form. The data is collected in-house (digitalisation by the staff) or by external service providers. Where possible the data is purchased in the appropriate quality. The State Survey Office in Feldkirch (LVA) is an important partner here and provides the link to the Federal Office for Calibration and Surveying (BEV). There is not enough space here to list all of the services provided by VoGIS.
