The State of Vorarlberg on the Internet

Around one third of Vorarlberg is covered in forest. The wood that grows there is not only an important raw material but also creates thousands of jobs, with over 3,500 people living from incomes earned in forestry. Even the security of many settlements, farmhouses and transport connections could not be guaranteed without protective forest.
